Top Tips To Nail This Year's Back To School Season
Awesome Ways to Keep Your Child Happy When They Go Back To School
We've taken a very different slant on the usual back to school features you've seen. We're not talking about the best school shoes, where to buy uniform or pack up ideas. Instead we're focusing on the mental and physical health and well being of our children as individuals as they gear up for starting school or get ready to join a new class.
Label the lot for school!
Obviously children find it upsetting when they lose their belongings. Let's try to keep them happy by labelling the lot!
If you’ve invested precious time and money updating uniforms and supplies for the new school year, the last thing you need is to lose them! Luckily, we've got the solution – name labels.
We've got two types of laundry-safe Clothing Labels:
Also, check out our adorable Shoe Labels!
Our scratch-resistant, microwave/dishwasher/freezer safe Labels come in a variety of shapes and sizes to suit all your school supply needs. You can use large labels for books, medium labels for lunchboxes, small labels for medical supplies, and mini labels for pencils.
We also have Bag Tags, including Allergy Bag Tags which highlight your child's allergy to others.
It’s a new term - why not try something different?
School can be mundane for kids, seemingly doing the same thing day in day out. Why not try something completely different with them?
Springfit Gymnastics and Trampoline Club have been running classes in Surrey and Sussex for the last 10 years and thousands of local children (and ADULTS - oh yes it's not just for the kids, parents!) have enjoyed an exciting way to improve balance, co-ordination and fitness through their popular activities.
From pre-schoolers learning the basics right through ability based classes to advanced level in both sports. There are also “youth” classes to introduce older children to the beneficial activities and boys-only classes, plus freestyle (parkour) sessions. The friendly and relaxed atmosphere has inspired many Mums and Dads to join in one of EIGHT adult classes too! You’re never too old to defy gravity, as the popular “adult and child” trampoline classes have proven. The sport is so much fun and also gives parents peace of mind as they will know children have been properly taught how to use garden trampolines safely!
Springfit pride themselves on being a fully inclusive club and welcome everyone, ensuring that all shapes and sizes can take part, get moving and most importantly have FUN whilst doing it! Contact them on 0203 478 0203 or email email@example.com for more information.
Increase Your Child's Confidence both in Class and Out
Back to School with Melody Bear - Let’s pretend, let’s imagine, let’s create, let’s DANCE!
With the caring and supportive Melody Movement Early Learning (MMEL) curriculum, any child can be introduced to the exciting and fun world of dance, promoting a healthy, active lifestyle and creating lifelong learners and dancers for life.
Story book character, Melody Bear, is at the heart of the syllabus. Her narratives, pictures, music and songs inspire and engage the senses as toddlers learn about the world around them through creative movement. Class themes include a visit to Nursery Rhyme Land, colours and counting, magical garden, rocket to the moon, the farmyard, seasons, weather and nature and a fairy tale castle to name just a few!
As well as aiding physical development and respect for others, children learn the value of combining music, movement, dance and the imagination to tell a story and convey emotions.
Melody Bear classes are taught at dance schools across the UK for ages 18 months upwards. Classes are age-appropriate and taught by qualified dance teachers adopting the MMEL five-level curriculum.
Come along and join Melody Bear – it’s the perfect introduction to the world of ballet for every young dancer.

Keep Riding That Summer Wave! The Cool Summer Feeling Doesn't Have to End!
The fun doesn't have to stop because your child has started school! Get your children in the swim, it's fantastic to see them enjoying the freedom and fun of swimming (floating, kicking and splashing about) to learning to swim independently.
From our extensive experience, we know that learning to swim at a young age offers all sorts of significant benefits. Swimming, without the use of flotation devices, tends to make children supremely confident in and around water. They’ll love the joy of having a totally different underwater world to play in— although obviously they’re not fish, so you’ll still need to keep a close eye on them!
At Water Babies your little one will be able to journey seamlessly through our programme, which they can join from birth. Little ones have a natural affinity with water, and they possess amazing natural reflexes in water; we work with these to develop your child’s confidence and skills in the pool. You and your child are individuals and our aim is to teach you and your child as individuals when we are teaching you in your class. We are here to work with you. Our programme is continuous, moving from term to term as your child progresses; our new classes normally begin in September, November, February and May - your little one can join us up to and including week 3 of the term.
Did you know that our programme covers the main areas of child development namely social, physical, language, intellectual, cognitive and emotional – WOW, what an amazing start to life! Do call us on 01295 709221 too find our more or email us on firstname.lastname@example.org

Empower Your Children With Emotional Skills
The start of school can be an emotional time for both parents and children. Help Us to Help More Children be HAPPIER!
Human beings are ruled by emotion, it determines the way we move through life, how we handle relationships, friendships, pressure, stress, anxiety, fear, etc. When we learn how to minimise, cope or deal with all the emotions that make us feel bad, we are able to experience more of the emotions that make us feel good.
At our Teddy’s Inc. EQ Club, we help you to teach your children, or the children you work with, how to manage their emotions so that they are able to deal with them as and when they happen. This also builds their confidence, makes them more resilient and helps them to improve their relationships.

Tumble Tots – Skills for Life Programme
Now that the Summer Holidays are over, September is here and our Tumble Tots classes are back in full swing!
Our programme endeavours to help children develop those essential ‘Skills for Life’ by providing structured physical play in a challenging environment. The specially designed colourful wooden and foam equipment is used to operate the classes with additional hand held co-ordination items.
We provide classes for the different ages and stages of a child’s development. Children from 6 months to 7 years old are encouraged to fully explore and develop their physical skills of agility, balance and climbing.
The classes build a child’s self-confidence, allowing positive personality traits to flourish and enhancing their social skills. During the classes, we also contribute towards their language and memory development through action songs and rhymes.
