New classes for the new term! |

We know it's still August but we're so excited to be listing so many new classes and groups for the new school term starting in September - see our featured below for more details and inspiration to try something new!
Also this month we have two competitions and some great discounts on things for your little ones.
In the meantime enjoy the rest of the summer, get out there and have fun - and if you need any inspiration we have 400 fab days out across the UK that might be just the ticket. What about Diggerland in Kent or the Discovery Centre in Berkshire or Puzzle Wood in Glouchestershire?

Mums in Business |
This month we feature Cathy's story and hear how her business is working around her growing family.
After working in sales roles since leaving school I had 'Giuseppe' my first little boy in February 2000. I returned to work part time again in sales but felt unfullfilled.
At that particular time there was not an awful lot of activities on offer for Mums and babies/children and particularly for energetic little monkeys who couldn't keep still like 'Giuseppe'!
I then quickly fell pregnant again and had double trouble to entertain! I have always harbored a passion for music and dance and spent many a sunday night growing up grooving around the living room with my Mum and Brother to the top 40 countdown and i continued this tradition with both my boys who seemed to delight in this!
I got to researching if there was anything I could take the boys along to locally that was similar but alas there was nothing that seemed to fit! It was then i discovered MAD Academy on the internet and the franchise opportunity and I thought to myself I CAN DO THIS!
January 2008 saw the launch of MAD Academy Basingstoke and yes I've been on the proverbial rollercoaster at times but mostly I am on a high and never look back! Even my surprise expected arrival in October 2008 will be no problems for me as the business lends itself to being a flexible working Mum.
I can't believe how lucky i am to be doing something I love so much that fits so perfectly with my family life and is so much Fun!
